Before you buy a new Pokemon Snap!

New Pokemon Snap - Before You Buy |
The new Pokemon snap developed by the tournament's organizers walks a fine line between being cool, mildly fun, and, making me smile, and uh yeah, mission-accomplished, simple as that. You're in the Lunar region, working with Professor Mirror, another cool Pokemon professor dude, and his sidekick Rita, who guides you through your pleasant adventure.
- Specialized Pokemon Camera
It feels like you're going on a Pokemon ride, like you're just kind of cruising along, viewing things like you'd be at a theme park, or maybe it's like Jurassic Park and you're looking out for dinosaurs. Yes, your camera can zoom, and it has a scan feature that scans your environment for hints and information to help you learn more about the regions and islands. When you press the scan button, it can also attract the attention of some pokemon, so as I mentioned earlier, you can also use items to help out after a point, but each area has a day and night version to visit where different pokemon show up, and that's the fun of these games, seeing or discovering one of your favorite pokemon hiding in a bush.
- Casual Fun Ride: really Begins
It's just fun. It's like getting that little endorphin rush from going for a run, snapping a bunch of photos, maybe even using up all of your limited photos, and then watching them all kind of cash in, get graded, and get some rewards. It can be satisfying. The course has a research-level that you can advance through, and as you progress through it, the Pokemon in the area may behave or react differently. Call it a resnap, so you have a nice little built-in editing feature there, too, which is very cool and very 2021, and it's like a logical inclusion in the lab hub.
- Keep track of your photos

You can keep track of your photos. You can still edit them: You can go through your photo decks and you can view your accomplishments and little research titles that you on expeditions. The photo deck is cool because you can see where you took each photo, view it on a map, and sort it by Pokemon. It's comprehensive, and the game just keeps track of everything: length of play, photos were taken, pokemon names in the lab and camp, and you can access the online feature and view other people's photos and basically upvote them with medals, and then you can view other photographers' rankings in each scoring category, which is just enough online stuff.
There's not anything crazy that will be annoying or get younger kids in trouble. It's just plain fun to share photos, articles, and photos. It's not quite social media. It's a little bit more like a classic ranking-type thing, but for what it is, it's simple, and it works. If you can't tell by the way I've been saying it, Pokemon Snap is really simple. There's not much to it, but that doesn't technically mean it's a bad thing. There are plenty of Pokemon represented both new and old, so there's something for every type of fan.
- Not Most Intense Game

It's not the most intense game, of course, but there's at least something to chew on, so I think it achieves that balance that I'm looking for. Some pros and cons, some opinions, and now I want to hear yours in the comments. Are you old enough to remember playing the original game? Did you love it? Have you played it since then and realized how dated it is? You will like this new one.
You jump in, you consider it. You are not even aware that it was released this week and we just told you. Drop in the comments now if you enjoy these before you buy and if we genuinely help you out, clicking the like button is the best way you can help us out and we would really be freaking appreciate it, but as always, thanks for watching and we'll see you guys next time.
My Rating: 8.5/10
The END _ Bye Bye...
